What did it mean to be human?
To live, breathe, or bleed the same color?
To have morality, to have empathy, or to have your body to yourself?
To have a thing called: "Humanity"?
None of which he had.
His Blood is Black.
His actions are foreign.
His way of looking at the world is apathetic.
How could Crona ever be considered human?
Was he ever human to begin with?
He didn't feel human-
No matter how human he looked.
On the inside he was the opposite.
But he was human enough to be punished as one.
"Crona's death sentence is inevitable."
No one could ever look at him and relate.
How could you connect yourself, your soul, to someone like him?
Someone who looked at other humans and only saw food?
He was a demon through and through.
"The only thing a Pitch Black Demon like me can do is taint things…"
But then she came into his life.
A person neither bound by Fear or Madness, unlike him.
A stranger who offered her love.
A girl who had been betrayed in the end.
He wasn't human, how could he ever replicate those feelings?
Those he couldn't deal with he pushed away.
Those situations that were inane to him were ignored.
Those people that he made a bond with were forgotten.
He didn't need those bonds with others.
Because he wasn't human enough for them.
Not anymore.
And it is that loss of humanity that creates a Kishin.
Because once upon a time, Crona was a human.
Even with blood that was dyed black.
Even with a weapon inside of his body.
Even with a hell inside of his mind.
He was human enough to be loved.
"Crona… I'll follow the Madness and… I can see the whole world, and I WILL find you!"
But he has now given up his humanity.
Because he has rejected the idea that he was human.
He may not look it on the outside so far.
But on the inside, he is already a Kishin.
A Kishin that still looks too human.
And I agree... poor Crona. ;___; Not like I don't see this already happening in the manga now.
I love
And yes, I watched the show as well. X3 But the manga is a LOT darker which is why I have this poem here... this is based off of the newest chapter. Crona is back on the path of becoming a Kishin (Actually he had been for awhile but still-) and I wanted to write a poem about that.
I know! I just love Crona too! ;____;
And she is getting close! I know it!
But I still had to write this poem because of how it looked bad right now in the manga. Of course considering Crona- the worst has to come before it can get better.
*nods* I agree with that statement.
Oh! Yay for inspiration! XD
